General Information
The Town of Dubois is located along one of the old trapper routes to the Jackson Hole country, which today's traveler can follow by modern highways 26 and 287. It is in the heart of some of the state's best hunting and fishing country, serving a vast hinterland, little changed since frontier times.

How to Reach Dubois
Commercial airlines fly into Riverton, Casper and Jackson where auto rentals are available. Dubois has a new CAA approved, blacktop airport for private planes up to the DC-3 class. Local air service provides connections with major airlines in Salt Lake, Denver, and Billings for jet service. Powder River Bus lines connect Shoshone to Casper and Billings.
Town Park
The town provides a picnic area with rest room and a tennis court free for all visitors. Located in the Headwaters Complex (Dubois Museum, Arts Conference Center, Woodie Held Memorial Ball Field and the National Bighorn Sheep Interpretive Center).
